Locks Heath Puma Youth and Puma Cubs are proud to be the fastest-growing junior rugby club in the area.
Since our humble beginnings in 2017 with just a handful of players, we’ve grown into a thriving community that now supports nearly 300 local children aged 4 to 16 (Year R to Year 11). We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive, welcoming children of all abilities and backgrounds.
Our membership and age groups continue to expand year on year as we grow our player base.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to build a complete playing pathway, from our youngest Puma Cubs all the way to Colts and ultimately integrate into the Club’s Senior section, creating lifelong opportunities through rugby.

Senior Rugby
The Senior side of the Locks Heath Pumas is an inclusive and community focused team. We have a place for everyone and every level of ability.
We train on a Thursday at the Royal Navy Ground ay HMS Collingwood and play almost weekly in the season on a Saturday in and around Hampshire. We’re famously nomadic, with Southampton University amazing 4G pitch at Wide Lane in Eastleigh being our Seniors home ground.
If you’re looking to return to the game or try something new having never played before, we’d encourage you to make contact, come along and give it a go!

Age Grade Rugby
We offer Age Grade rugby for children year R through to year 11 as of the September 2025/26 season.
We offer a number of FREE trial sessions for new joiners.
We have dedicated and qualified coaches running each age group. We are an friendly and inclusive club.

Our summer break starts in May and we will be back training again in September. Some age groups will run summer fitness sessions so do please make contact if you are interested in joining ready for the 2025/26 season.
All our info is on our Puma Youth pages

Join the Pumas as a Volunteer
As we continue to grow in our local area, we need more help in many of the roles the club are running. Most roles will not take up too much time and there are many that don't require you to have played the game.
Kindly have a look at our volunteer page and if you see something you feel you could help us with just reach out and we can have a chat.
The Pumas and our Cubs offer support and help to get you settled into the club and enjoy the role.
We are stronger together!
